"Sunshine Home" is an establishment for the elderly founded by Grandma Lin and has become a warm, welcoming refuge for a variety of elders with diverse personalities. As she battles advanced liver cancer, Grandma Lin passes on the caretaking duties of the nursing home to her granddaughter, Ye Xiaomei. This is when Guo Sanshuang, a savvy salesman, gets his grandfather admitted into the nursing home with the intention of introducing and selling health supplements to the elderly residents for quick profits. Initially, there is friction between Ye Xiaomei and Guo Sanshuang. However, their innovative post-90s perspectives bring fresh energy into the lives of the elderly folk, although it causes a good deal of disagreements. Despite this, the poignant tales of each individual gradually draw everyone closer.
