Theodore Roosevelt is destined for greatness. Originating from a prestigious family and holding a Harvard degree, he's an emerging politician with a pregnant wife, Alice. However, his bright future is suddenly marred by tragedy. His mother loses her life to typhoid, and in an unbelievable twist of fate, his wife Alice also perishes in childbirth on the same day. Overwhelmed by grief, Teddy abandons his sophisticated urban life of towering skyscrapers and societal elite. He resolves to head to the desolate Dakota Territory, intending to use the harsh realities of survival on the American frontier as a crucible to transform himself into an even greater man.
