The tale of Arima revolves around the lives of four women and a young girl that are thrown into disarray with the unexpected appearance of two outsiders. One of the strangers is on the run from the other and slips around town like a shadowy figure whose reality is doubtful. The second character —a wounded man armed with a firearm— is set to upend the regular lives of the women in disparate manners. The entire narrative unfolds on the delicate border of fact and fantasy, oscillating between dreams and terror, longing and dread, within an enigmatic plot.
