Mao Shan, portrayed by Jack Neo, is a determined durian farmer with grand ambitions to reach international markets, but faces resistance from the industry's "Three Heavenly Kings". His only ally is his neighbor Mei Lian, played by Yeo Yann Yann, whose durian farm benefits from his assistance, sparking intimate feelings between them. However, the unexpected return of her estranged husband, Jin Shui, played by Mark Lee, causes a conflict. Trying to turn Mei Lian’s children against Mao Shan, Jin Shui adds to the existing troubles, whilst Mao Shan struggles to save both their businesses and capture Mei Lian’s heart.
