Review movie Fireworks

This poignant love story unfolds in a sun-soaked town in Sicily in the summer of 1982, featuring two young men who fall for each other despite the disapproval of their surroundings. Gianni is a handsome but introverted teenager who is constantly ridiculed for his homosexuality by the town's masculine society. He serves as a car mechanic in his stepfather's workshop, yet his personal life is as compromised. However, his life takes a beautiful turn when he comes across Nino, a boy with curly hair who possesses a charming smile. As the boys fall in love and grow closer, an expected moral outcry from their families and the community, in general, begins to surface. Despite such resistance, the boys are determined to stand their ground.
