Review movie Antarctica: The Frozen Time
Contrary to the perception of desolation, Antarctica teems with life, presenting a diverse ecosystem in which only around two percent of animals are currently known to us. Many of these creatures inhabit the waters under the ice, playing a potential role in shaping the course of human existence. During the summer, when the Aurora Borealis illuminates the icy terrain, the wildlife in Antarctica exists in a state of bliss. Whales spout water into the atmosphere, penguins rocket into the ocean, while seals hunt for crabs beneath the sparkling ice caps. From the Ross Sea's bay to vast colonies of penguins and active volcanos, life dances to the rhythm of the Antarctic ice. But slowly, the impact of climate change is becoming noticeable. As some species perish, others flourish, potentially introducing new viruses and bacteria, and thus posing renewed threats to humans. The natural balance is being disrupted. The question remains - how many more generations will have the chance to witness Antarctica's mesmerising beauty?
